George’s marvelous medicine - One of my favorite book

You have to read this book!

 It’s so comical. But the first sentence-THIS BOOK IS FOR DOCTORS EVERYWHERE- A totally ridiculous line. 

It also teaches an important lesson and that is you should never leave a child alone at home, especially with a grumpy, selfish, old patient who has a sharp tongue to look after.  But sometimes I wonder why George didn’t limit his ‘ingredients’. 

I know he said that he would put in everything he found but at least a list would do, right? 

Well anyway I loved the ending; the results of batches 2, 3 &4 were so hilarious. Especially batch no. 2- a chicken on stilts is so ….. absurd. 

 

One thing is sure- Roald Dahl is the best author ever.
